Devotional: Every Crown Belongs to Him

The week is ending, and your hands are full. Full of what you built, what you protected, what you managed to hold together through sheer effort and quiet faith. You did not let it fall. You showed up. And now, at the close of it all, there is a strange weight in the winning.

Here is what most of us do not see until we are exhausted: the weight we carry is not always grief or failure. Sometimes it is achievement. Sometimes it is the crown we earned that we cannot figure out how to set down.

The elders in Revelation 4:10-11 knew something we need to learn. They took their crowns, the very symbols of what they had been given and accomplished, and they cast them before the throne. Not reluctantly. They fell before the One who is worthy, and they let go. That moment was not defeat. It was the deepest form of worship.

Father, I enter Your presence not with a list but with a posture. You are seated on the throne, and everything that exists was created by You and for You (Revelation 4:11, NLT). I worship You before I speak another word.

I cast every care on You, because You care for me (1 Peter 5:7, NIV). My hands are open. My week is Yours.

Prayer of the Day

Lord, as this week closes, I lay every crown before Your throne. Every achievement, every outcome, every role I carried and every burden I managed.
