Devotional: The God Who Fills Until It Overflows
God is not the God of just enough.
He is the God of more than enough.
When He blesses, He doesn’t measure in human portions—He pours until it overflows.
David declared in Psalm 23:5 (AMP), “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You have anointed and refreshed my head with oil; My cup overflows.”
Notice, God did not just fill David’s cup—He allowed it to run over.
Overflow is a prophetic picture of abundance, victory, and divine favor that cannot be hidden.
This month, God is setting a table for you.
Not in secret, but in the presence of those who doubted you.
Not with crumbs, but with overflow.
Your cup will not run dry—it will run over.
The question is not whether God can do it—the question is whether you will believe Him for it.
This is the season to stretch your faith, enlarge your capacity, and expect blessings that cannot be contained.

A Moment of Reflection and Confession
Lord, I confess that at times I have doubted Your ability to provide.
Forgive me for limiting You in my thinking and expecting too little.

I renounce every mindset of scarcity, fear, and unbelief.
Today I align my heart with Your promise of abundance.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Interceding for Others
Father, I lift up those around me who are struggling with lack and insufficiency.
Open the floodgates of heaven over their lives.
Let their cups run over with provision, peace, and joy.
Anoint their heads with oil and establish them in abundance.
Let their testimonies silence the enemy and bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Personal Petition: Lord, Let My Cup Run Over
Heavenly Father,
In the mighty name of Jesus,
O Lord, I stand on Your Word that says, “You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” (Psalm 23:5 AMP)
I thank You that I am not called to live in lack but in overflow.
I reject every cycle of insufficiency, delay, and empty hands.
I command every spirit of dryness and poverty to scatter by fire.
Let every barrier holding back my blessings break now in the name of Jesus.
I decree that this month, my cup will not only be filled but overflow with abundance.
Anoint my head with fresh oil—let opportunities, favor, and resources locate me.
Prepare a table for me in the presence of every adversary and let them see that You are my Shepherd.
I will not eat crumbs when You have prepared banquets.
I will not beg when You have called me to overflow.
From today, my hands will carry more than enough to bless others.
My house will be filled with songs of provision and testimonies of increase.
This is my month of overflowing joy, overflowing peace, and overflowing supply.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Teach Moment
Overflow is not luxury—it is covenant.
The Shepherd does not just feed His sheep—He anoints and causes overflow.
The cup that runs over is a sign that your portion is secure and untouchable by the enemy.
When you step into overflow, you shift from survival to influence.
You stop begging and start blessing.
You stop asking for crumbs and start distributing bread.
God does not give overflow so you can hoard it—He gives it so you can pour into others.
“God is not glorified by an empty cup, but by a life overflowing with His goodness.”
