✨ God revealed growth I failed to see

I asked the Lord to show me what I need to improve on in myself. I have prayed so ardently at work to make things better. I did not notice, that in some aspect’s , it has improved. I had also taken more of a proactive role in tackling the issue. However, my mindset, was as if there has still not been any improvement and when I talked about it , with my Mum, I was conscious that, although the problems are still there, there had been an improvement. I felt that I should have acknowledged that, as it was Gods work.

I also had a very abusive car driver, verbally abuse me, for their mistake. For a split second, I replied in kind and they made their way off, I had just left mass, where I was and am always grateful to be able to serve. It seemed relevant and brought it to my attention that I sound have simply said, ‘ God bless or have a nice day’ anything other than in kind. I realised, yes, I can reply in kind but what if that person goes off and takes his worsened mood out on someone else?, I understand that there is a flip side to that view but , it showed something in me, that I needed to change.

Small prayer but it was answered and could have big ramifications.
