Devotional – When God Finishes What You Cannot
There are seasons when life feels partly complete.
Some prayers have been answered, yet some areas still feel unresolved.
You sense God’s hand, but you are waiting for His finishing touch.
That tension is not a lack of faith.
It is the space where trust is being refined.
Scripture reminds us that God is not a God of half-finished work.
“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me” (Psalm 138:8, NKJV).
Many believers struggle here.
They rejoice over progress but quietly worry about sustainability.
Will it last.
Will it hold.
Will something be reversed.
God speaks directly into that concern.
According to Ecclesiastes 3:14 (ESV), “I perceived that whatever God does endures forever.”
What He starts, He sustains.
What He builds, He preserves.
This devotional moment is not about striving to finish your own story.
It is about surrendering the unfinished chapters to a faithful Author.
The same God who carried you this far is committed to perfecting every detail of your life.
Daily Spiritual Posture
Today, we come with trust instead of control.
We release anxiety and embrace God’s workmanship.
We wait with expectancy, not impatience.
We stand together, confident that God completes what concerns us.
