But heaven speaks a different language entirely.
The same Spirit who reached into a sealed tomb and breathed resurrection life back into the body of Christ now indwells you. Not as a distant promise deferred to some future age, but as present power available to you in this very hour.
Romans 8:11 states with unmistakable clarity: “And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then he who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through his Spirit who lives in you.”

I open myself completely to receive divine life in the places where weakness has held sway, to welcome strength where I have known only limitation, and to permit vitality to displace the exhaustion that has settled into my bones. I expect the Spirit within me to be actively at work right now, bringing life to my mortal frame in concrete and tangible ways.

When Paul writes that God will give life to our mortal bodies through His Spirit, he employs both present and future tenses to emphasize the ongoing reality and ultimate completion of resurrection power. Many believers resign themselves quietly to physical decline, never daring to expect the Spirit within them to manifest tangible strength, healing, or vitality. The power that conquered death stands ready to meet the daily realities of weakness, illness, and exhaustion. George Müller, that great man of faith, spent decades demonstrating that the Spirit’s power is not metaphorical but measurably real in the lives of those who dare to believe.
Charles Spurgeon declared with fire: “The resurrection of Christ is the guarantee of the resurrection of His people.
