God Has Not Forgotten You—Even in the Shadows

Abuse leaves marks no one sees.
Bruises heal. But the fear lingers.
The shame.
The confusion.
The silent screams behind closed doors.

Maybe you’ve asked, “God, where are You in all of this?”
You’ve cried until there were no more tears.
You’ve hidden your pain just to survive.
You’ve questioned your worth, your choices, your voice.

But hear this: God sees. God hears. And God will deliver.

Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
You are not invisible to Him.
You are not forgotten.
And you are not powerless.

Today, let’s come boldly to the One who heals, rescues, and restores.

Prayer – Prayer for Abused Women

Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a heart that has been bruised, beaten, and battered.
I carry wounds no one else understands.
But You see it all.
You hear every silent cry.
You know the battles I’ve fought behind the scenes.

Psalm 34:18 – “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Lord, I ask for healing—deep, supernatural healing.
Heal my soul where it has been torn.
Heal my heart where it has been shattered.
Heal my mind from the confusion and fear.

Rescue me from every unsafe place.
Break every yoke of emotional, physical, or verbal abuse.
Silence every lie spoken over me.
Break every word curse, every manipulation, every controlling spirit.

Isaiah 61:1 – “He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”

donate now

Father, protect me.
Hide me under the shadow of Your wings.
Send angels to guard me day and night.
Let every plan of violence, intimidation, or control be scattered by fire.

Give me strength to take the next step—whether it’s speaking out, walking away, or reaching for help.
Surround me with safe people.
Send voices of wisdom.
Send divine resources.
Send deliverance.

Psalm 91:14-15 – “I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My name.”

Lord, restore my identity.
I am not what was done to me.
I am not worthless.
I am not trapped.
I am not weak.

I am loved.
I am valuable.
I am Yours.

Zephaniah 3:17 – “The Lord your God is with you… He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Help me believe again.
Hope again.
Heal fully.

I choose freedom over fear.
I choose truth over manipulation.
I choose Your voice over every lie spoken to silence me.

Thank You for being the God who saves.
The God who sees.
The God who never lets go.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.
