PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You for my nation. Thank You for Your mighty hand of power that has sustained us over the years.
Father, please have mercy on my nation. Let Your abundant mercy preserve us from evil, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please put godly men and women in leadership positions. Please, Lord, let Your will be done in this nation, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please let Your wisdom guide the hearts of our leaders and those in authority. Give them the grace to lead us right, in Jesus’ name.
Lord, please arrest the hearts of kidnappers, ritualists, oppressors, and other evil people in my nation. Let them not know peace until they turn from their wicked ways and surrender to You, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please let every aspect of my nation’s economy thrive and prosper. Cause the breath of Your peace and grace to blow across every sector, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please let the positive prophecies that have been spoken over my nation come to pass. Please, establish Your word concerning this nation, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please let Your light shine over my nation. Let every form of confusion and stagnation come to an end, and let Your light bring stability and progress, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please let there be peace in my nation. Remove tribalism, strife, racism, and all forms of darkness that turn people against one another, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please strengthen and guide our youths. Let our youths rise to take their rightful place in every sector of the economy. Let them not get carried away with youthful lusts, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please destroy every plan of the devil to plunge my nation into sorrow. Let Your joy fill this land, and make us fruitful in all areas, in Jesus’ name.

Open Heaven Prayer Points for Today
These Open Heaven prayer points for today are original PrayerPrompt content, declarations and a reflection to turn today’s message into prayer.
Prayer Points
- Lord, let gratitude shape how I see my nation, open my eyes to the fingerprints of Your grace woven through our history, even in the hard years.
- Father, release a fresh wave of mercy over this land. Where injustice has taken root, let Your righteousness rise and displace it quietly but completely.
- Raise up leaders, Lord, who carry the fear of God heavier than they carry ambition, men and women who serve their people the way You served us: sacrificially.
- Grant wisdom to every person in authority, in government, judiciary, education, and community, so that their decisions ripple outward as blessing and not harm.
- Break the power of violence, exploitation, and division in this nation. Let those who profit from other people's suffering encounter the living God and be changed.
- Breathe life into every struggling sector of our economy, Father. Let honest work yield honest reward, and let poverty lose its grip on families across this land.
- Protect and direct the next generation, Lord. Let young people discover that their greatest calling is not fame or wealth, but faithfulness to You and to their communities.
- Let unity flourish where tribalism and racial hatred have long divided us. Remind every citizen that we share more than we differ, because we are made by the same Creator.
Declarations
- I declare that my nation is held in the hands of a God who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and His purposes for this land will not fail.
- I declare that I am an intercessor, not a bystander, my prayers reach the throne of heaven and shift things in the earth.
- I declare that righteousness is rising in my nation, and every system built on corruption and fear is being dismantled by the power of God.
- I declare that the young people of this nation are anointed for such a time as this, and they will walk in purpose, integrity, and divine direction.
- I declare that peace, God's shalom, the kind that restores and makes whole, is the inheritance of this nation, and I receive it by faith today.
Reflection
Intercession for a nation is rarely dramatic, it often looks like one person, in a quiet room, choosing to believe that God cares about what is broken. Today, let the prayer points from this devotional become a personal rhythm rather than a checklist. Pick one area of national life that weighs on your heart, and stay with it in prayer throughout the day. Consistent, faith-filled intercession is how ordinary believers participate in the extraordinary work God is doing in the earth.
