You gave everything. And then you gave more. And somewhere in the giving, you looked down and found the tank empty, the hands trembling, and the smile that used to come easily now costing you something you cannot afford.

That is not a spiritual failure. That is the precise moment Paul is describing in Galatians 2:20. “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” The old self that tried to carry everything, perform for everyone, and never run dry, that self was crucified.
