Devotional – The Cycle Ends Tonight

You’ve been here before.

You know this feeling. This attack. This struggle. This same battle you thought you already won. And now it’s back, trying to start the cycle all over again. The same sickness. The same financial crisis. The same relationship pattern. The same fear. The same depression. The same addiction trying to creep back in.

And you’re tired. You’re tired of fighting the same fight. You’re tired of praying the same prayer. You’re tired of watching breakthrough turn into setback, victory turn into another round of warfare.

But tonight, something is going to shift. Because God has already spoken over your life, and His Word is final.

The Bible says, “What do you plot against the Lord? He will make a complete end; affliction will not rise up a second time” (Nahum 1:9, NASB). Read that again. Affliction will not rise up a second time. God doesn’t just defeat your enemies—He makes sure they can’t come back. When He delivers you, He delivers you completely. When He breaks something off your life, it stays broken.

The enemy wants you to believe that you’re stuck in a cycle. That this is just how your life is going to be. That every time you get free, you’ll end up right back where you started. But that’s a lie. God doesn’t do halfway deliverance. He doesn’t do temporary freedom.

You don’t just push back the enemy—You destroy him completely.
