The coffee shop owner across the street closed her doors for the last time yesterday. As I watched her turn the key, something stirred in my spirit about God’s kingdom advancing even in the midst of endings and transitions.
Kingdom advancement happens when God’s purposes break through earthly limitations. It flows through surrendered hearts, transformed communities, and believers who refuse to accept that things must stay the same.
Scripture reveals that God’s kingdom advances through prayer, through faith, and through ordinary people who believe extraordinary things are possible when heaven touches earth. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
