Devotional: When God Lifts, No One Can Block It
You’ve done your best. You’ve prayed. You’ve worked hard.
But still… no promotion. No breakthrough. No lifting.
It feels like something unseen is holding you back.
Like you’ve been marked for delay.
Like doors that should have opened remain mysteriously shut.
That’s not your imagination—that’s warfare.
There are invisible barriers—spiritual forces, ancestral covenants, or word curses—that resist your rise. But today, in the name of Jesus, those barriers are breaking by fire!
The Bible makes it clear in Psalm 75:6–7 (AMP):
“For not from the east, nor from the west,
Nor from the desert comes exaltation.
But God is the Judge;
He puts down one and lifts up another.”
Promotion doesn’t come from men, titles, or human manipulation—it comes from God.
And when God decides to lift you, no force in hell can stop it.
Today, as you cry out, “Every invisible barrier resisting my promotion, break by fire and release my lifting, in Jesus’ name!”
Expect chains to break.
Expect gates to open.

My Father, on this day, May 5, 2025, I lift my voice in spiritual warfare. I boldly declare, “Every invisible barrier resisting my promotion, break by fire and release my lifting, in Jesus’ name!” Let every unseen force standing between me and the throne You have prepared for me be scattered now. For those whose names have been forgotten, hidden, or ignored, let divine remembrance arise and speak for them today!
I stand in the gap for my community and nation—may every destiny helper arise and every gate of opportunity be opened!
Let righteous leaders be promoted and wicked oppressors be brought low!
