Devotional: When God Establishes Your Work, No Enemy Can Uproot You

In today’s workplace, uncertainty can shake even the most confident professional.

Rumors of layoffs…
Office politics…
Unseen forces working behind the scenes to sabotage your position…

But here’s the truth: If God plants you, no devil can uproot you.

That’s why today’s focus is a bold declaration of spiritual positioning:
“O Lord, I secure my job by the covenant of favour; no satanic hand shall remove me from my place, in Jesus’ name!”

Psalm 90:17 (AMP) says:
“And let the [gracious] favor of the Lord our God be on us; confirm for us the work of our hands—Yes, confirm the work of our hands.”

When God’s favour surrounds you, it secures your work.
It shields you from demotion, rejection, and spiritual manipulation.

That covenant of favour will:

  • Preserve your promotion
  • Shield your job from spiritual attacks
  • Frustrate demonic conspiracies
  • Establish your labor in lasting success

Today, declare this over your job, career, or business:
“No satanic hand shall remove me from my place!”

Let’s pray with fire and confidence…

Prayer of the Day: Securing My Job by the Covenant of Favour

My Father, on this day, May 4, 2025, I take my stand in faith. I boldly declare, “O Lord, I secure my job by the covenant of favour; no satanic hand shall remove me from my place, in Jesus’ name!” Let every plan of darkness against my work be scattered! Father, establish me in the position You have assigned to me. Let Your favour speak louder than every voice of sabotage, and let my labor be protected by the blood of Jesus. Amen!

Entering God’s Presence with Thanksgiving

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the work You’ve given me. I’m grateful for Your provision and the opportunity to be fruitful. I praise You for the favour that surrounds me like a shield, protecting me even when I can’t see the battles. Thank You for securing my place and lifting me above every opposition, in Jesus’ name.

A Moment of Reflection and Confession

Lord, I confess that at times I’ve worried about my job and doubted Your covering. Forgive me for any fear or unbelief I’ve allowed. Today, I choose to trust in Your covenant of favour. Cleanse my heart, sharpen my focus, and anchor my work in Your will, in Jesus’ name.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift up those facing threats to their jobs or livelihoods right now.
I pray for workers caught in corporate restructuring, unjust reviews, or workplace attacks—let Your favour preserve their positions!
I intercede for business owners and leaders under demonic opposition—Lord, build a wall of fire around their enterprises!
For those enduring rejection, envy, or sabotage in their workplace, I decree supernatural vindication and promotion in Jesus’ name!

I stand in the gap for my colleagues, my managers, and even my competitors—let divine order, peace, and justice prevail where You have placed us!
Let no one lose what You have assigned, and let no spiritual thief snatch their divine portion!
Father, let workplaces be filled with righteousness, productivity, and divine wisdom for decision-makers and team members alike!

Tip: Mention specific names of people you are praying for—family, friends, or co-workers whose jobs or businesses need divine favour.
