Devotional: Honoured by God, Established for Greatness

You may be skilled.
You may be hardworking.
But without God’s honour, your influence fades.

There are people in your field who work tirelessly yet remain unnoticed. Others rise fast—only to fall just as quickly.

But when God honours you, He establishes you.

He plants you in a place of recognition, impact, and stability.

1 Samuel 2:30 (AMP) says:
“Therefore the Lord God of Israel declares, ‘I did indeed say that your house and that of your father [forefather Aaron] would walk before Me forever.’ But now the Lord declares, ‘Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me will be insignificant and contemptible.’”

Honour in God’s kingdom is not based on connections or cleverness. It’s given to those who honour God first.

When you honour Him with your time, your work, your integrity, and your worship—He doesn’t just bless you—He lifts you.

Today, pray this with conviction:
“I receive divine establishment and lasting honour in my field, in Jesus’ name!”

My Father, on this day, May 10, 2025, I come before You with expectation. I boldly declare, “I receive divine establishment and lasting honour in my field, in Jesus’ name!” Lord, lift me into places of influence and impact. Let my work speak of Your glory. Position me where my name brings honour to You. May Your favour distinguish me, and may my life reflect Your faithfulness, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

For those whose honour has been stolen through betrayal, dishonour, or injustice—restore double honour, O Lord!

I stand in the gap for my nation’s workers and visionaries—let the righteous be recognized and established in positions of influence!
Let godly professionals rise to shape culture, policy, and innovation for Your glory!
