The writer of Hebrews was writing to people who understood what it meant to be kept out. Under the old covenant, only the high priest entered God’s presence, once a year, with blood that was not his own. Everyone else waited outside. That world is gone. The curtain was torn. And what stands open now is not a side entrance for the spiritually elite. It is the throne of grace, and you are invited to come boldly.

What changed everything is not your performance. It is who you are in Christ. Because He entered as your High Priest, you enter in Him. That is the ground you stand on today. Not your track record. Father, I enter Your presence with thanksgiving. You are the God who drew near to us in Christ, and I worship You for that stunning gift.

I confess every place I have lived as though I were far from You. I receive Your forgiveness now, because Your Word says that if I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive them and cleanse me from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, NKJV). I stand clean before You today.
