Trusting God's unique blessings over comparing to others
My Prayer to You, Lord
Lord, You know all of my dreams, my heart, my struggles, and everything I have been carrying.
Right now, I see other people achieving the things I once dreamed of, and honestly, sometimes it hurts. But Lord, I do not want to feel envy. You know that is not who I am. Help me genuinely celebrate others while trusting that what You have prepared for me is different. Remind me that their blessings do not take away mine, because Your blessings for me are unique, incomparable, and meant specifically for me.
You know how big my dreams are, and sometimes they feel impossible. I want to succeed in pageantry and finally have that one crown I have always prayed for. I want a peaceful, flexible career that gives me financial freedom, build my own successful business, create the life I have always imagined, take care of my family, travel with them, and eventually use my blessings to help other people.
You know I dream of success, abundance, opportunities, a beautiful and healthy life, meaningful work, seeing myself on billboards and commercials, working in movies and teleseryes, and being surrounded by genuine people who truly support me and want to see me succeed.
Lord, You also know the pain behind these dreams. You know I was once told by my own mom that I would “never ever become successful.” Those words hurt me deeply, and sometimes I still carry them with me.
But I don’t want revenge. I don’t want success just to prove anyone wrong. I simply want to become the person I know I can be and live the beautiful, healthy, abundant life I have always dreamed of. I want my success to overflow so that I can share it with the people I love and help those who need it.
You know my pain, Lord. You know every disappointment, every loss, every silent prayer, and every dream I have held onto.
And right now, I feel overwhelmed because I don’t know where to begin. My dreams feel so big that sometimes I wonder if I will ever achieve them.
But You always remind me that with You, all things are possible.
So please help me. Give me direction when I feel lost. Show me where to start. Open the right doors, guide my decisions, and put the right people in my life. If there is something You want me to know, please speak to my heart. Knock on my door and help me recognise Your voice.
When I feel behind, remind me that I am not forgotten.
When I compare my life to others, remind me that their journey is not mine.
When my dreams feel impossible, remind me that You are bigger than what I can see.
You knew my pain before I ever spoke about it. You know everything, Lord. Please hear me out. Please guide me, strengthen me, and help me believe that my story is not over.
I surrender my dreams to You, and I trust that whatever You have prepared for me will be uniquely mine.
