A fractured ankle, surgery, six months out of work, and a daughter starting college — and somehow, at the end of it all, the first semester is paid and you are back on your feet in more ways than one.

We stand in that with you, Dee. It is exactly what Psalm 37:25 means when it says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread" (ESV) — your household did not beg. God provided, right down to what the invoice required.

Lord, what You did for Dee this year was real and specific and enough. We ask that You carry forward every good thing You have begun — in her health, in her daughter's education, in the work of her hands. Let her walk into what is ahead with the same quiet confidence that brought her through this, knowing You are the same God today as You were in the hardest month.
