Alpha Hour Prayer Points for Favor Upon Favor
Prayer Point 1: May the Lord Send You Deliverance
Pray: Let the Lord bring you deliverance from every affliction that you find yourself in. I see a God who has a hand that can deliver. I see a God who has a hand that can enter hell, that can enter the grave, that can enter the sea, that can enter the fire. The God who has a hand that can enter any corner, it can enter darkness to bring deliverance. It can crush the scorpions and crush the serpents. We serve a living God whose hand delivers. We serve a living God whose hand delivers. May that God deliver you tonight. I don’t know what you want, I don’t know your situation, but may the Lord send you deliverance. May the Lord send you deliverance. Even if you are rotten, may the mighty hand of the Lord bring you deliverance. May the mighty hand of God bring you deliverance. He would deliver you from that shame; He would deliver you from that misery; He would deliver you from that financial crisis; He would deliver you from that setback; He would deliver you from those sicknesses; He would deliver you from that hopelessness; He would deliver you from that depression— The Lord is a Deliverer! The Lord is a Deliverer! The Lord is a Deliverer! May the Lord deliver you from academic stagnancy.
Insight
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from all. But the Lord delivers him from all. Listen to me, I don’t know the revelation you have about God, but what enthuses me about him is his ability to deliver. His ability to deliver, to a point that even in hell— Jesus went to hell and delivered souls. And the Bible says in Ephesians chapter 4 that when he was going up to heaven, he went with the trim. The Bible says in Matthew 27 that when he resurrected, there were souls and saints that came out of their graves together with him. That is the power of his deliverance. That should be the rocket assurance of all believers.
Prayer Point 2: Your Certificate Will Land a Mighty Job
Pray: I refuse to be excellent in academics and a failure in my career and profession in the name of Jesus. You will not be excellent in academics and a failure in career. Academic excellence will lead to career success. Academic excellence will lead to career success. In the name of the Lord Jesus, any contention in the atmosphere against brilliant students so that they become frustrated in life, against students— that this is not permitted! Your certificate will be useful. Your certificate will produce great advantages. Your certificate will give you opportunities. Your certificate will land you a mighty job. In the name of Jesus, I prophesy to you, your certificate will land you a mighty job.
Declarations
- Your certificate will be useful! Your certificate will be useful— opening doors for you now wherever you apply for a job. I declare that they will look for you! I declare that they will look for you! I declare that they will look for you! I declare that they will look for you! I decree that they will look for you in the name of Jesus.
How to Pray: Declare this prayer aloud with authority in the name of Jesus.
Prayer Point 3: Break the Curse of Exam Failure
Pray: By the blood of the Lamb, by the blood of the Lamb, I break the curse of academic excellence in class and failure in exams, in the name of Jesus.
Insight
Yes, that curse must be broken.
Prayer Point 4: Overtake Cancer by the Blood
Pray: By the blood of the Lamb, we overtake that cancer! By the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, you overcome every disease right now!
Prayer Point 5: Nullify Every Legality from Youthful Exuberance
Pray: In the name of Jesus, I nullify legalities, I nullify legalities raised against my life, raised against my life, through youthful exuberance. In the name of Jesus. Let the curses, let the legalities that were raised against your life, against my life, be broken, be broken, be broken, be broken, be broken. Things you said that you have forgotten; things you said that you remember; places you went that you forgot; places you now remember: spiritual covenants that you got involved in that will never let go — that is affecting your career, affecting your marriage life, affecting your family life. The devil is a liar! Tonight is your breakthrough! Let every legality be broken! I reverse legalities over my life from my youthful age! Reversal of illegality by the Blood of Jesus! By the Blood of Jesus! In Jesus’ mighty name!
Insight
Whatever anybody said to you when you were young, whatever you did, anything you were engaged in, anything like that would have serious repercussions over your life. Because what is against you was there at the time that you didn’t understand life.
How to Pray: Lift up your hands and pray this aloud in the name of Jesus.
Prayer Point 6: Plead the Blood, Break Every Curse
Pray: I plead the blood of deliverance over your life. I plead the blood of deliverance over your life. I plead the blood of deliverance over your life. I plead the blood of deliverance over your life. I plead the blood of deliverance over your life. I plead the blood of deliverance. I bow my knees for people. Whatever is not making life work for you, any legality— the Bible says a curse causeless shall not stand. A curse causeless shall not stand. But if a curse has stood, it means it had a cause. But the cause has a solution. That solution is the blood of the Lamb. And I plead the blood over your life. Let every curse be broken. Let every curse be broken. Let every curse be broken. I plead the blood against every legality that is making sure that your career life becomes frustrated, that is making sure that your academic life becomes frustrated.
Declarations
- You are free now. Amen. I declare you free now. Amen. I declare you free now. Amen. I declare you free now. Amen. I declare you free now. Amen. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Prayer Point 7: We Give You All the Praise
Pray: Thank you, Lord. We give you praise. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. We give you all the glory. We give you all the praise. Whatever You have done, whatever grace You have released, whatever anointing You have released on this altar— we say thank you, Jesus, our mighty King. We adore Your holy name, we bless Your holy name, Lord God Almighty.

Prayer Point 8: Force of Favor Drives Riches of the Gentiles
Pray: Let the force of favor drive the riches of the Gentiles to me as I pray, in the name of Jesus.
Insight
God has promised us that he will give us the riches of the Gentiles. Pray it. Pray that in this season, that the Lord, by the force of prayer, in your life, he says strangers will come and give to you. Strangers will labor for you. That is what the word of God says. He has said let the force of favor draw the help of Gentiles, the help of strangers. Draw it over your life in the name of Jesus.
Prayer Point 9: Let Years of Joblessness Be Broken
Pray: In the name of Jesus, I pray, as I pray, let years of joblessness, let years of joblessness be broken tonight, be broken tonight, in the name of Jesus.
How to Pray: Lift up your voice and pray this with urgency in the name of Jesus.
Prayer Point 10: Enroll Me in Heaven’s Scholarship Scheme
Pray: My Father, by your mercy, by your mercy, enroll me in heaven’s scholarship scheme. Enroll me in heaven’s scholarship scheme. In the name of Jesus. Lord, enroll me in heaven’s scholarship scheme. Lord, I don’t have anybody, but I enroll in your sponsorship and scholarship scheme. Sponsorship and scholarship. My God, I come in, I come in, I come in. My Father knows that I have need of school fees. My Father knows that I have need of a plane ticket. My Father knows that I have need for rent. My Father knows that I have need for hostel payments.
Insight
Listen, when heaven decides to give you scholarship, it can come through the main school you are in. The school can choose to cancel your school fees. Somebody can rise to pay your school fees. God himself can make somebody make a wrong transaction to your account. It can be anything. I am in heaven’s scholarship scheme. Ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened. Ask and it shall be given. If you don’t have anybody, that doesn’t mean you won’t go to school. If you don’t have anybody, that does not mean you won’t eat. There is a sponsorship scheme in heaven. There is a sponsorship scheme in heaven. Ask and it shall be given. Ask and it shall be given.
Declarations
- In the name of Jesus, you are enrolled tonight.
Prayer Point 11: Favor the Wayward, Restore My Family

Every pain in any part of your body tormenting you in any way, I command it to be out now. I command pain to step out now. I command pains to cease now. I command pains to cease now. I decree and declare by the holy power of the name of Jesus Christ that you are healed now. You are healed now. You are healed now. From every form of pain in the body, you are healed now. Pains in the knee, pains in the leg, are healed. I command you, pain disappear! Pain disappear! Pain disappear! Pain in the hands, pain in the knees, pain in the bones, pains in the head, pains in the veins, I command you disappear! Disappear! Disappear! In the name of Jesus!
Prayer Point 13: Let There Be a Career Upgrade
Pray: As I pray, by the mercies and grace of the living God, let there be a career upgrade for me, in the name of Jesus. A salary now jumps times 4. An offer is coming. It is going to move from local currency to foreign currency. Career upgrade, career upgrade.
Insight
You may be staying home for years, but I tell you, the Lord will compress the years you have stayed home and give you a job that in one year you recover. It is called career upgrade. Some of you, God is about to release promotions. In a strange way. In the mighty name of Jesus.
Prayer Point 14: Drive Me Into the Place of Exploits

The drive to be diligent. The drive to be exceptional. The drive to be unique. The drive to be humble. The drive to submit. The drive to take instructions. The drive to strive to be the best. I call it done in Jesus’ name. Please establish a covenant with the Lord over your career and your life will never be the same.
Prayer Point 18: Wash Me in the Blood, Make Me New
Pray: Forgive me every sin of mine. Wash me in the blood. Wash me in the blood. Cleanse me from unrighteousness. Cleanse me from unrighteousness. Make me a new creation. Make me a new creation. How to Pray Through This List
These prayer points have no power in the words alone — their power is in how you pray them. E. M. Bounds taught that every answered prayer is carried on certain anchors of the heart. Here are the seven that matter most when you kneel:
- Pray with faith. Believe that God hears you and is able. Faith is what turns a wish into a word with weight.
- Pray with trust. Rest in who God is while you wait for His answer. You are not convincing a reluctant Father — you are leaning on a faithful one.
- Pray with humility. Come as you are. God is not impressed by eloquence; He is drawn to a low heart.
- Pray with desire. Pray what your heart actually hungers for, not what sounds spiritual. God answers hunger.
- Pray with fervency. Let your prayer carry fire, not form. Lukewarm prayers move no mountains.
- Pray with importunity (persistence). Keep returning to the same point until heaven answers. The prayers that break through are often the ones you almost quit.
- Pray with the Word of God. Before each point, read the scripture aloud. Scripture teaches your spirit to agree with what heaven has already written.
Take these prayers with you through the day — when you wake, as you wait, before meals, before you sleep. The prayer that moves heaven is the prayer that is believed, that is earnest, and that does not quit.
