Prayer Point 4: Favor on the Work of My Hands
Pray: My Father, my Father, let your favor rest upon the work of my hands as I enter this new week. Cause increase, growth, and recognition in all I do.
Insight
The Bible says that be anxious of nothing, but in everything with thanksgiving make your requests known. With thanksgiving make your request. So there is a way you can marry request and thanksgiving to make things happen in your life. And in Psalm 8:2, he said that out of the mouth of babies he has ordained strength to silence, to silence the enemy and the avenger, to silence. Speaking of Satan, the way to silence Satan is praise and thanksgiving. The way to silence — because in Matthew 21, the Bible speaks of it, that when Jesus was interpreting it, he didn’t say he has ordained strength, he said he has ordained praise. So praise is equal to strength. You are going to lift up your voice and begin to praise God to silence Satan.

I cannot continue failing in one examination. The master has need of me. It’s time for me to move on in life. The master has need of me.
Insight
God intentionally did it that way so that the first day, the first hour of the day will meet you before the throne. The first hour of the day will meet you before the throne. That is how God has designed it, and it is the way that God is using to destroy the works of the enemy. Because the forces of darkness have been used to for many years staying awake on the first hour whilst believers sleep. But now the Lord has raised believers to be awake in the first hour of the day.

How to Pray Through This List
These prayer points have no power in the words alone — their power is in how you pray them. E. M. Bounds taught that every answered prayer is carried on certain anchors of the heart. Here are the seven that matter most when you kneel:
- Pray with faith. Believe that God hears you and is able. Faith is what turns a wish into a word with weight.
- Pray with trust. Rest in who God is while you wait for His answer. You are not convincing a reluctant Father — you are leaning on a faithful one.
- Pray with humility. Come as you are. God is not impressed by eloquence; He is drawn to a low heart.

- Pray with the Word of God. Before each point, read the scripture aloud. Scripture teaches your spirit to agree with what heaven has already written.
