You Need More Than Comfort—You Need Fire
Sometimes what we need isn’t another sermon or quiet devotional moment.
Sometimes we need holy fire.
Fire that burns what doesn’t belong.
Fire that revives what’s gone cold.
Fire that breaks chains, exposes darkness, and stirs up boldness.
Hebrews 12:29 says, “For our God is a consuming fire.
When the fire of God falls, demons flee.
Bondages break.
The heart is purified.
And the spirit becomes unshakable.
You weren’t made to live lukewarm.
You were created to burn.
Let’s pray for divine fire now.
Prayer to Release the Fire of God
Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, I ask for Your holy fire to fall upon my life.
Hebrews 12:29 – “For our God is a consuming fire.”
Let Your fire consume every impurity in my heart.
Let it burn away every compromise, every spiritual laziness, every unholy desire.
Ignite in me a deep passion for You.
Every demonic presence hiding in my life—be exposed and consumed by fire.
Every yoke of bondage, witchcraft, and delay—be broken by the fire of God.
Acts 2:3 – “Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them.”
Baptize me afresh with the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Let my prayers be fiery.
Let my worship carry weight.
Let my words be anointed with power.
Lord, let Your fire set my life apart.
Wherever I go, let darkness tremble and Your glory be revealed.
I will not live cold or powerless.
From today, I walk in the fire of God.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
