Life can feel heavy.
Responsibilities pile up.
Disappointments weigh the heart.
Fears whisper in the night.
Sometimes it feels like you are carrying the whole world alone.
Jesus never intended for you to live that way.
He knew you would face burdens too heavy for your shoulders.
So He gave an invitation.
Matthew 11:28 says, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
The cross is not just a symbol of salvation.
It is an altar of exchange.
Your burdens for His peace.
Your weakness for His strength.
Your sorrow for His joy.
The enemy wants you trapped under the load.
He wants you weighed down until you can’t move forward.
He wants you so exhausted you stop believing.
But Jesus says, “Cast it on Me.”
Lay it down at His feet.
Walk free.
This prayer is your moment of release.
Release the weight.
Release the anxiety.
Release the fear.
Because when you let go, He takes over.
Prayer to Lay Down All Burdens at Jesus Feet
Heavenly Father,
I thank You for the invitation to rest.
I thank You for carrying what I cannot carry.
I thank You for being my peace.
Today I lay down my burdens.
I lay down my fears.
I lay down my disappointments.
I lay down my failures.
Wash me with the blood of Jesus.
Cleanse my heart from worry.
Cleanse my mind from anxiety.
Cleanse my soul from heaviness.
Your Word says in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all my cares on You because You care for me.
I cast them now.
I refuse to hold them.
I refuse to carry them.
Let Your peace rule in my heart.
Let Your strength lift me.
Let Your joy fill me.
Let Your rest cover me.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
