Today's Scripture
"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." (Isaiah 26:3, ESV)
Evening Spiritual Posture
Before you pray, release what you have been holding. Breathe out the noise. Confess any worry you have treated as your own to solve. You are not the keeper of tomorrow. God is. Come to Him now, not from beneath the weight, but from your seat with Christ, lifted and secure (Ephesians 2:6).
Entering God's Presence
Father, I come to You at the close of this day with gratitude. You have been faithful through every hour, seen and unseen. I worship You as the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps, the One who watches over my going out and my coming in (Psalm 121:8).
Prayer for the Night
Father, as I rest tonight, keep my surrendered mind in perfect peace, for I am choosing to trust the God I have given myself to, in Jesus' name. Your Word says You keep in perfect peace the mind that is stayed on You (Isaiah 26:3, ESV), and I am staying my mind on You now.
Interceding for Others
Lord, I bring before You every person lying awake tonight, mind racing, heart heavy. Let Your perfect peace reach them in the dark. Let someone in grief, in fear, in confusion feel Your presence settle over them like a garment (Isaiah 61:3, ESV).
