Today's Scripture
"Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, with his drawn sword in his hand. And he bowed down and fell on his face." (Numbers 22:31, ESV)
Daily Spiritual Posture
Enter this prayer with a quiet, expectant heart. Release any frustration about what has felt confusing or blocked. You are not approaching a God who is reluctant to show you. You are approaching the God who opened the eyes of prophets, kings, and servants, and He has not changed.
Entering God's Presence
Father, I come to You with thanksgiving. You are the God who sees all things and withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11, ESV). I confess every distraction, assumption, and self-reliance that has dulled my spiritual sight.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, just as You opened Balaam's eyes to see what stood before him, open my eyes today. Open them to the spiritual realities at work in my relationships, my calling, and every path I walk. Where I have been moving in frustration, let me now move in understanding.
Interceding for Others
Father, I lift before You every person I know who is walking a road they cannot fully see. Open their eyes to Your presence and protection. Let them not mistake Your guards for obstacles.
