Today's Scripture
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9, ESV)
Daily Spiritual Posture
Enter this prayer seated with Christ, above the noise of fear and the whisper of dismay. You do not come as someone hoping God might show up. You come as someone whose God has already spoken. Clear your heart of anything that would muffle that voice, and step in.
Entering God's Presence
Father, I come before You with a grateful heart. You are the Lord of every step, the God who neither sleeps nor abandons, and I worship You for Your faithfulness that has carried me to this very day.
Prayer of the Day
Lord, today I step forward in the courage You have commanded. I will not be afraid or dismayed as I walk toward the promises You have set before me, because You go with me every step of the way. Your Word to Joshua is Your Word to me: "Have I not commanded you?
Interceding for Others
Father, I lift to You every person who is standing at a threshold today, afraid to move, unsure of what the next step will cost. Speak Joshua 1:9 over them as clearly as You spoke it over Joshua. Let them hear Your voice above the roar of their fear.
