Praying as the New Creation You Are

Today's Scripture

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17, ESV)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, release the weight of every label the past has placed on you. You are not praying today as the person you used to be. You are praying as a new creation, seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6, ESV).

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with a grateful heart. You are the God who makes all things new, and I praise You because Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23, CSB).

Prayer of the Day

Lord, because it is written that I am a new creation in You, I will not pray today from the old identity, the one marked by shame, unworthiness, or distance. I come as the new person You have made me, standing boldly in who I am in Christ.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person who prays today crushed beneath an old identity. Let Your Word reach them: they are new in Christ, and the old is gone (2 Corinthians 5:17, ESV).

Let prayer become daily.
