“And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.” (Isaiah 30:21, ESV)

This is not a distant promise. This is the guarantee of a shepherd who speaks. God does not withhold His voice from those who belong to Him. He does not lead you into the dark and then go silent. He speaks. He directs. He guides with tenderness.

Think of Samuel in the temple. A boy who did not yet recognize the voice of God. Three times the Lord called. Three times Samuel ran to Eli. Forgive me for the times I ignored the gentle nudge of Your Spirit because it did not make sense. Forgive me for doubting that You would speak to me personally.

I surrender my need to control the outcome. I lay down my timeline. I trust that You are guiding me even when I cannot see the full picture.
