Devotional: God Is the Source, Not the Channel

Who do you rely on to meet your needs?
Your job? A loved one? Your own hustle?
Those are channels—but only God is your source.

When God is your source, He never runs dry.
Even in famine, He fed Elijah.
Even in debt, He brought oil for the widow.
Even in the wilderness, He rained manna from heaven!

“And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19 (AMP)

God doesn’t bless you according to the economy, but according to His glory.
That means there’s no shortage. No delay. No lack He cannot overturn.
But here’s the secret: You must stop seeing people as your supply and begin to trust God fully.

Today, shift your eyes from man to God.
Your business may be the jar—but God is the oil.
Your job may be the faucet—but God is the well.
Declare: “Father, You are my source. Let nothing run dry in my hands!”

I stand in the gap for nations suffering economic instability.
Lord, bring righteous leaders, economic wisdom, and supernatural recovery!
I pray for single parents, caregivers, and breadwinners—strengthen their hands and flood them with Your provision!
Father, let testimonies of divine supply begin to pour in!
