Devotional: The Step You Have Been Delaying

There is a promise sitting in your life that you have not yet walked into. You can feel it. You know what God said. But something has kept your foot from leaving the ground, and that something has a name: fear.

Fear is patient. It does not always arrive as panic. Sometimes it comes as hesitation, as a reason to wait one more season, as a voice that says you are not ready yet. It borrows the language of wisdom and uses it to keep you standing at a threshold God has already opened.

Then God speaks in Isaiah 41:10 (AMP), and everything shifts: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand, a hand of justice.” This is not a gentle suggestion.
