You showed up again. Nobody gave you a standing ovation. Nobody noticed the extra mile, the patient conversation, the sacrifice tucked behind a smile. And somewhere inside, a quiet voice has started to wonder whether any of it matters at all.

That voice is not telling the truth. And today, Scripture has something better to say.

1 Corinthians 15:58 does not whisper. It declares: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58, NKJV). The word “knowing” is the hinge. Paul is not saying “hoping your work counts.” He is saying you already have the knowledge, settled and sure, that in Christ not one faithful act evaporates.
