Jesus didn’t hide what following Him demands: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23 (NIV)

Notice three non-negotiables. Deny yourself—your agenda, your comfort, your way. Take up your cross daily—not once, but every single day. Follow Me—not your feelings, not the crowd, Me.

Following Jesus costs something—but the alternative costs everything. When you deny yourself to follow Him, you gain life. When you cling to yourself, you lose it.
