Mountains don’t panic when storms come.

They don’t shift when winds blow. They don’t relocate when the ground trembles around them. Mountains simply stay. Steady. Anchored. Unmoved.

And that’s exactly the picture God paints of you.

Psalm 125:1 declares, “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever” (NIV). Notice—this isn’t about your own strength. It’s not about willpower or gritting your teeth through difficulty. It’s about trust. When your confidence is rooted in God, you take on the character of a mountain.

Maybe today you feel more like shifting sand than solid rock. Maybe circumstances have been shaking you—finances, relationships, health, uncertainty about the future. The enemy wants you to believe you’re fragile. That one more hit will knock you down for good.

But God says otherwise.

He says that those who trust in Him cannot be shaken. Not “might not be shaken.” Cannot. It’s a settled matter. Your stability isn’t based on how strong you feel—it’s based on who holds you.
