Devotional – What God Has Done Cannot Be Undone
There’s something deeply reassuring about a finished work.
When God moves in your life, it’s not a draft. It’s not a maybe. It’s not subject to review. What He has done—truly done—carries the weight of heaven behind it.
Maybe you’ve seen God open doors this year. Heal what was broken. Restore what seemed lost. Provide when the numbers didn’t add up. And now, perhaps, there’s a whisper of fear: What if it doesn’t last?
Hear this today: Psalm 126:3 reminds us, “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy” (NIV). Notice the tense. The Lord has done. Past tense. Completed action. The psalmist isn’t hoping God might do something. He’s celebrating what God already accomplished.
And what God accomplishes, no force in heaven or earth can undo.
Today, you’re not begging God to protect a fragile blessing. You’re declaring that His finished work is sealed. Permanent. Irreversible. Step into prayer with that confidence.
Daily Spiritual Posture
Come with gratitude for what God has already accomplished. Stand in confidence—not arrogance, but holy assurance. Release any fear that good things can be snatched away. Together, we declare that God’s work in our lives is sealed.
Daily Prayer for December 15 2025
This is a day to remember. To seal. To stand firm on what God has done. Let His Word anchor your heart as you enter prayer.
Main Scripture
Psalm 126:3 (NIV) “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”
A Sacred Pause
Pause for 30 seconds. Let your mind recall one specific thing God has done for you this year. Hold it before Him with gratitude.
Prayer of the Day
Father, I thank You for the great things You have done. Your works in my life are not accidents—they are divine appointments. I receive Your goodness with joy and without fear. I trust that what You have built will stand. Seal Your work in me today, Lord. Let nothing be lost, stolen, or reversed.
Entering God’s Presence with Thanksgiving
Lord, I enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise. You have been faithful when I didn’t even know what I needed. You moved when I couldn’t see the path forward. You provided when the cupboard looked empty. You healed when hope was fading. I worship You—not for what You might do, but for what You have already done.
A Moment of Reflection and Confession
Father, I confess that sometimes I’ve doubted Your finished work. I’ve worried that blessings could be reversed. I’ve let fear steal my joy instead of resting in Your sovereignty. Forgive me for the moments I questioned Your permanence. Realign my heart to trust what You have sealed. I surrender my anxiety and receive Your peace.
Interceding for Others
Lord, I lift up my family—seal Your good work in their lives. Protect the breakthroughs You’ve given them this year. I pray for my church—may every spiritual advance be established. Strengthen pastors and leaders who are weary from the battle. I pray for believers around the world—may the global Church stand firm in what You have accomplished. Let no work of the enemy reverse what Your hand has done.
Personal Petition
Heavenly Father, In the mighty name of Jesus, O Lord, I stand on Your Word that says, “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy” (Psalm 126:3, NIV).
I take a moment to name my specific situation before You today.
Father, I thank You for every door You opened this year—I declare those doors remain open. Every healing You released in my body, I declare it permanent and complete. Every relationship You restored, I speak divine protection over it now. Lord, where You brought provision, I decree that supply will not run dry. Where You gave me peace, I refuse to let anxiety reclaim that ground. I seal every breakthrough with the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against Your finished work shall prosper. I cancel every assignment of reversal, setback, and loss. What You have blessed, no man can curse. What You have established, no devil can dismantle. I walk forward in confidence—not in myself, but in the permanence of Your hand. Father, perfect everything that concerns me according to Your faithful love.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Psalm or Verse for Meditation
Philippians 1:6 (NLT) “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”
Wisdom for Deeper Understanding
The enemy has a strategy he uses against believers: he waits until after the breakthrough, then attacks with fear. He wants you to spend more energy worrying about losing the blessing than you spent receiving it.
But Scripture is clear—God is a finisher. Philippians 1:6 tells us He doesn’t abandon projects halfway. What He begins, He completes. Your job isn’t to hold everything together with white-knuckled effort. Your job is to trust the One who already holds all things together.
When you seal your blessings in prayer, you’re not performing a magic ritual. You’re declaring alignment with God’s character—His faithfulness, His permanence, His sovereignty. You’re reminding yourself, and every spiritual force listening, that what God has done stands.
As Charles Spurgeon once said: “God is too good to be unkind and He is too wise to be mistaken. And when we cannot trace His hand, we must trust His heart.”
Prayer Prompt Faith Activity
- Write down three specific things God has done for you this year—big or small.
- Speak Psalm 126:3 over each one aloud.
- Declare over each blessing: “This is sealed. This cannot be reversed.”
- Share your testimony with someone today—let your witness strengthen their faith.
Final Encouragement
You’re not walking into this week hoping things hold together.
You’re walking in knowing that God finishes what He starts.
The enemy may try to whisper doubt. Circumstances may shift. But what God has done in your life carries His signature—and heaven backs it up.
Don’t shrink back.
Stand tall. Remember. Rejoice.
Say it boldly: “Father, seal every good work in my life—nothing will be reversed, in Jesus’ name!”
As your day unfolds, consider returning to God again in the evening. Evening Prayers can help you close the day in His presence—sealing what He’s done and resting in His faithfulness.
Watch Today For…
Watch for moments of unexpected peace when worry tries to creep in. Watch for reminders of what God has already done—testimonies revisited. Watch for the quiet confidence that replaces anxious striving.
