Devotional: Beware the Kiss of Betrayal

Breakthrough is near… and that’s when the enemy sends Judas.

Not the obvious enemy. Not the person who’s always opposed you.

But the one close enough to kiss you.

Luke 22:48 (AMP) says:
“But Jesus said to him, ‘Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?’”

Betrayal doesn’t come from strangers—it comes from those with access.

Those who know your dreams.
Those who sit at your table.
Those who’ve walked the journey with you… up until now.

Judas spirits are subtle. They don’t look like enemies.
They come with smiles. They come with flattering words.
But their mission is clear: sabotage your destiny at the edge of your breakthrough.

You must be vigilant. Spiritually alert.

Jesus discerned the kiss. He called it out for what it was.
You must do the same.

Today’s prayer is a prophetic cry:
“O Lord, deliver me from Judas spirits assigned to betray me at the edge of my breakthrough!”

You’ve come too far to be taken out by hidden enemies.

Prayer of the Day: Deliver Me from Judas Spirits

My Father, on this day, April 25, 2025, I lift my voice in spiritual warfare. I boldly declare, “O Lord, deliver me from Judas spirits assigned to betray me at the edge of my breakthrough!” Expose every hidden enemy, every false friend, and every betrayer walking close to my promise. Let their plans be scattered and their masks removed. I refuse to be brought down by deception. Preserve me, O God, from those who smile with their lips but plot with their hearts. Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your protection over my life. Thank You for delivering me from traps I didn’t even see and enemies I didn’t know were near. Lord, I confess that at times, I’ve trusted too easily and discerned too little. Forgive me for letting the wrong voices close to my destiny. Today, I ask for renewed discernment and spiritual alertness. Let every Judas in my circle be exposed. Shield my heart from manipulation and betrayal, in Jesus’ name.

Father, I lift up those who are walking closely with the wrong people—those under spiritual attack and unaware of the Judas spirits assigned to sabotage them.
