Devotional – When God’s Voice Seems Silent

There are seasons when the road ahead feels like walking through fog at dusk. You can see just enough to take the next step, but nothing beyond that.

You have prayed for clarity. You have asked for a sign, a confirmation, something to hold onto. And still, the heavens seem quiet.

This is not abandonment. This is the place where trust is forged.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Notice the order: trust first, then direction follows.

God does not always show you the full map because He wants you to follow Him, not just His instructions. He invites you into relationship, not merely revelation.

Today, you may not have all the answers. But you have the One who holds every answer, and that is more than enough.
