Myself and husband had been divorced for many years. After God saved me and I got baptized I forgive him for all the wrong he had done to me. Last year he passed away,but God used me to help take care of him before he died.

Praise God with Dolores — He hears and He answers.

God moved in you — not after the hurt was small, but while it was still large — and gave you the grace to care for the man who had wounded you.

That is the work of Someone greater than circumstance. As Paul writes, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" (1 Corinthians 13:7, ESV), and we see exactly that love at work in what you did in his final days. Your baptism was not just a beginning for you; it became a doorway of mercy for him too.

Lord, what You built in Dolores — that capacity to forgive and to serve — let it go on bearing fruit. Keep her walking in the freedom that forgiveness brings, and wherever grief and tenderness are still woven together in her heart, meet her there with Your peace that surpasses understanding.
