God's grace freed me from abuse

I was married to a man who was hit a lot by his father. He never forgave his father and carried the burden with him. In our marriage he started hitting me frequently for no reason. I would always talk about it before we went to sleep and forgive him. Then another time it was really bad and the Lord said to me "It's enough. Well done good and faithful servant" We than separated and I felt so much happier. Unforgiveness can create anger, mental health problems.
