Hi Lorenzo, my name is Lizzie. I am a single income, disabled lady, who is also struggling with the cost of housing. I gave up waiting on section 8, and needed immediate assistance with affordable housing. USDA has affordable housing, but it’s for rural areas. I applied at a “USDA low income elderly apartment complex “ and was approved and accepted immediately, but there were no open apartments available. I was 2nd in line on the waiting list, and in 3months time, an apartment has come open for me, and im about to move into it. Long story short, there are additional housing options available, if you’re interested in checking them out. The USDA elderly apartments are going to be located just outside the city limits where ever you live or desire to live. Check them out! I got an apartment for $680/mo! And it’s nice!
