Favor and transportation to visit sick friend

Ask God to grant me favor to see my friend Wayne who is sick with cancer. I have no transportation. it would mean so much. Is it okay to tell God to let my friend be at peace regardless of what I am feeling? It hurts, but I rather him be in the presence of the Lord than be miserable
