Evening Spiritual Posture
Before you pray, still yourself for a moment. Breathe. Acknowledge that God is present, that He is good, and that nothing you carry tonight surprises Him. Confess any anxious self-reliance from today and receive His forgiveness freely. You are not approaching a distant judge.
Entering God's Presence
Father, I come to You at the close of this day with gratitude. You were present in every hour, even the ones I forgot to notice You in. I worship You as the God who does not grow weary of carrying what I bring to You.
Prayer for the Night
Lord, I ask for genuine rest tonight, not just sleep but the settledness that only comes from trusting You. Guard my mind as I lie down. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, stand watch over my heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7, NKJV)

Father, I bring before You every person I know who is carrying something too heavy for them tonight. You know their names, their fears, the exact weight they are holding. I ask You to meet them with the same tenderness You are showing me right now.
