Evening Spiritual Posture

Father, I come to You just as I am at the close of this day. I lay down striving. I quiet my heart before You, the God of truth, and I enter Your presence with open hands.

Entering God's Presence

I thank You, Father, that You are not far off tonight. You are near to every heart that turns to You. I worship You as the God of truth, the One who has never once dropped what He was given to hold.

Prayer for the Night

Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit, my story, and every tomorrow I cannot yet see. You are faithful and You will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24, NIV). I rest on that truth.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift to You everyone tonight who is white-knuckling a situation they cannot control. Open their hands. Let them know You as the God who holds what they release.
