"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." (Isaiah 26:3, ESV)
Evening Spiritual Posture
Before praying, breathe slowly. Acknowledge that you are seated with Christ above every anxious thought (Ephesians 2:6, ESV). You do not pray to reach peace. You pray from the place where peace already lives.
Entering God's Presence
Father, I come to You at the close of this day with a thankful heart. You have been faithful through every hour, even the hours I barely noticed You.
Prayer for the Night
Father, I bring my whole mind before You now, every racing thought, every anxious loop, and I cast it all upon You. Your Word declares that You keep in perfect peace the mind that is stayed on You, and I choose to stay on You tonight.
Interceding for Others
Lord, I lift every person reading this who is lying awake tonight with a mind they cannot quiet. Let Your shalom shalom settle over them the way it has been promised.
