Today's Scripture
Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV): "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
Evening Spiritual Posture
Before I pray, I pause. I release the weight of today into Your hands, Father, because You care for me (1 Peter 5:7, NKJV). I confess where I relied on myself instead of abiding in You, and I receive Your forgiveness freely given through Christ (1 John 1:9, NKJV).
Entering God's Presence
Father, I come to You with a grateful heart. You are the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and tonight I am held by that unblinking faithfulness (Psalm 121:3-4, NIV). Thank You that Your throne is always open and Your mercy is always new.
Prayer for the Night
Lord, because Your Word says I may come boldly, I do not creep to Your throne tonight. I come with confidence, not in my own strength, but in the finished work of Jesus my High Priest who has gone before me (Hebrews 4:14, NKJV).
Interceding for Others
Father, I bring before Your throne every person who is lying down tonight running on empty. May they discover the same bold access I am leaning into right now. Let Your mercy reach them before tomorrow does.
