Search Me, Lord

Today's Scripture

"Search me thoroughly, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts; and see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way." (Psalm 139:23-24, AMP)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Father, I come to You at the close of this day seated in Christ, lifted above my own striving, resting in what He has already finished. I quiet my heart before You now.

Entering God's Presence

Lord, I enter Your presence with thanksgiving. You are the God who sees all and still draws near. Your steadfast love endures forever, and I rest in that tonight (Psalm 136:1, NIV).

Prayer for the Night

Father, I pray the prayer of David tonight. Search me thoroughly. Know my heart. Find every anxious thought I have been carrying quietly and every pattern I have not yet surrendered.

Interceding for Others

Lord, I lift the people in my life who are also carrying hidden rooms tonight. Meet them in the places they have not yet opened. Let Your love be the light that makes surrender feel safe rather than frightening.
