Trusting the Shepherd’s Paths

Today's Scripture

"He renews my life; he leads me along the right paths for his name's sake." (Psalm 23:3, CSB)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, still yourself. Release the replays of the week, the should-haves and the what-ifs. Take a slow breath and remember that you are not approaching God to report on your performance. You are coming to a Shepherd who already knows every step you took and calls them led.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with a full and grateful heart. You have been my Shepherd through every hour of this week, and I do not take that lightly.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, as this day closes, I receive the rest You promised. Because You lead me in paths of righteousness, I can lie down without fear. Psalm 4:8 is true tonight: You alone make me dwell in safety.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift those in my life who did not feel Your leading this week, those who feel lost, unsure, or forgotten. Lead them in Your paths of righteousness just as You have led me.
