Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, take one slow breath. Let your shoulders drop. Place this day into God's hands, the good parts and the hard ones. You are not coming to God to report in. You are coming to rest in Him.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with thanksgiving tonight. You are the God who sees, who knows, and who never turns away a heart that lifts itself toward You. I enter Your presence not on the strength of this day, but on the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Prayer for the Night

Father, I lift my heart and hands to You this evening, bringing my whole self before You, refusing to hold back any part of my life from Your presence, in Jesus' name. Like Jeremiah in Lamentations 3:41, I raise both the gesture and the interior of my soul to You, God in heaven.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift before You every person I love who is struggling to open their hands tonight. Meet them in their closed places. Draw their hearts upward toward You.
