Open My Eyes to What Only Heaven Can Show Me

Today's Scripture

Matthew 16:17 (AMP): "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven."

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, release the conclusions you have already drawn. Lay down the version of the story you have been telling yourself. Come to God as Peter came, simply present, and let the Father speak what flesh and blood cannot.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You at the end of this day with thanksgiving. You are the God who sees, who knows, who discloses. I worship You not because I have all the answers but because You do.

Prayer for the Night

Father, just as You revealed the identity of Your Son to Peter not through flesh and blood but by divine disclosure, open my eyes tonight to see what only heaven can show me in every area of my life, in Jesus' name.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person I love who is searching for clarity tonight. Open their eyes too. Let heaven speak to them what no counselor, no friend, and no search engine can.

Let prayer become daily.
