When the Spirit Illuminates What Confusion Has Hidden

Today's Scripture

"God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, since the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God." (1 Corinthians 2:10, CSB)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, still yourself. Release the noise of the day. Confess anything that sits between you and God tonight, and receive His forgiveness freely given through Christ. You are not approaching a distant judge. You are coming to a Father who already knows, and who already loves.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You at the close of this day with a grateful heart. You are the God who reveals, the God who illuminates, the God who does not leave His people in the dark. I worship You not for what You will show me tonight, but for who You are.

Prayer for the Night

Father, Your Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. I ask that same Spirit to search me tonight, to move through every room of my life, every hidden corridor, every place I have not been able to see clearly on my own. Where confusion has taken up residence, let revelation come.

Interceding for Others

Father, I bring before You everyone tonight who is walking in confusion, unable to see what You are doing. Let Your Spirit search them as well, bringing light to hidden places and hope to discouraged hearts.
