When God Draws You Close and Speaks

Today's Scripture

"Surely the Lord God does nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets." (Amos 3:7, ESV)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before praying, still your thoughts. Release the noise of the day. Confess anything that creates distance between you and God, receive His forgiveness, and enter with a grateful heart. You are not approaching a distant throne. You are drawing near to a Father who leans in.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You tonight with thanksgiving. You are the God who speaks, who reveals, who draws near to those who seek You. I worship You as the Lord of all wisdom and light.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, Your Word says that You do nothing without first revealing Your secret to Your servants. I receive that promise tonight as a personal invitation. I am Your servant, and I am drawing near.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift before You everyone I know who is walking in confusion tonight. Grant them the grace to draw near rather than pull away. Let Your light reach the dark places in their lives too.
