Renewed Strength Through Rest

Today's Scripture

"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31, NLT)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before praying, set down whatever you have been holding mentally. Breathe slowly. You are entering the presence of the One who never grows weary, and He is already leaning toward you.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with thanksgiving because You are the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth, and You never grow faint or weary (Isaiah 40:28, NLT). I worship You not because my day went perfectly, but because You are perfect and You are here.

Prayer for the Night

God, renew my strength as I rest in You tonight, for I have surrendered my striving and I am trusting the One who never grows weary to carry what I could not, in Jesus' name.

Interceding for Others

Lord, I bring before You the people in my life who are also weary tonight, the ones carrying burdens they have not said out loud. Renew their strength according to Isaiah 40:31 (NLT) just as You are renewing mine.
