Pouring Out Your Heart to God

"O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge." (Psalm 62:8, NLT)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You at the close of this day with a grateful heart. You have been present in every hour, even the ones I barely noticed You. I worship You not because this day was perfect, but because You are.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, Your Word says to pour out my heart to You, for You are my refuge (Psalm 62:8, NLT). I take You at that word tonight. I pour out the fear I have been managing, the disappointment I have been minimizing, and the hope I have been afraid to speak aloud.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift the people around me who are also carrying things they have not poured out yet. Meet them as refuge tonight. Let Your Spirit draw them into honest, unguarded prayer.
