Evening Spiritual Posture
Before you speak, breathe. Confess any weight of sin you have been carrying, receive the forgiveness that is yours through Christ (1 John 1:9, NKJV), and hand your anxieties to the One who cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, NIV). You are not approaching a distant throne.
Entering God's Presence
Father, I come to You tonight not with a polished heart but with an honest one. You are worthy of praise in every season, and I enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise (Psalm 100:4, NIV).
Prayer for the Night
Lord, like Jonah I choose to offer You the sacrifice of thanksgiving even now, from the depths of what I am carrying. I trust that You hear every vow and every cry, and that You are able to bring up my life from the pit (Jonah 2:6, NKJV).
Interceding for Others
Father, I bring before You everyone tonight who is in their own deep place, those who feel swallowed by circumstances, grief, or fear. Let the truth reach them that salvation belongs to You, that no depth is too far for Your hand.
